The monitoring device is based on the national standard GB7493-87 "Determination of Nitrite Nitrogen in Water Quality by Spectrometric Method". It can work continuously for a long time without human supervision according to the on-site settings, and is suitable for wastewater discharge from pollution sources, municipal sewage treatment plants, surface water and other water sources

This product is measured using the photoelectric colorimetric method. After mixing the water sample with a regulator, nitrate in the water sample reacts with the indicator to form a colored complex. The monitor detects the change in color and converts it into a nitrite value for output.
