This product is measured using the photoelectric colorimetric method. After mixing the water sample with a regulator, various forms of zinc are converted into zinc ions. Zinc ions react with the indicator in an alkaline environment and in the presence of a sensitizer to form a colored complex. The monitor detects this color change and converts it into a zinc value output.
